Rough Route so far
Paul Michael James Drea Fly out of the smallest airport ever,Wallace and Gromitt airlines, aka Jetstar ! via Avalon, Melbourne,
Decent flight, got a free transfer which was kinda wasted since i left my expensive fleece on the plane and and to take the train to go back to retrieve it ! doh!
Darlinghurst harbour looks fantastic and obviously Sydney harbour is just postcard material.
tried a couple of the local pies, two quid each and had a steak and beer for three quid !
Was told that the thing to do was to take the ferry to Manley rather than harbour cruises, about six quid. was worth every penny.
the Imax was pretty cool, watched that 300 film, lots of gore, close up.
The Aquarium was pretty cool, lots of tunnels and stuff, couldnt get a pic of the monster crab, shame, it was massive. loved the Yabby, what a name!
staying in the eqv of student halls of residence and ended up sharing a room with an elderly Japanese couple, clearly in the wrong
Darling Harbourprobably completely wrong but this was about ten mins from the hostel/night club, full of life, nice way to spend a sunday
place.should have got them on the Karaoke!
Darling Harbourthe other side, where i had aussie pie for lunch and for tea !
Darling Harbourold detroyer and sub, should have prob paid to go on the sub but was too interested in getting a beer !
The Rocksi think oldest part of Sydney where they landed and set up shop so to speak
The RocksThe Australian, home to pizzas with Roo or Emu or Saltwater Croc, hmmm !!
The Beast !its big alright, like the Tyne bridge but better, builders from Middlesborough! Ha Ha Ha !
