Today we went to Taronga Zoo.
Again we were wide awake all night and sleep in the morning, so we left about 12:30
Walked to Darling Harbour to catch the ferry :/ fortunately its not a long journey. Eventhough I don't like boats it was nice to see the city from a distance, pass under the bridge and pass the Opera House.
Really enjoyed the zoo. I felt you could get nearer to the animals then you woudl here. I loved the giraffes, of course. They were veryfriendly, coming near the fence. The view was great here. As your looking at the giraffes, behind them all you can see is the harbours, and city in the distance.
You were able to feed the giraffes for $25 and get a pic but after seeing them slobbering all over other peoples arms and hands I was put off. I was just as near to them as they were but I was $25 better off and had clean hands!
We caught the ferry back to Darling Harbour about 5:30
The view of the bridge was fantastic at this time. It was just starting to get dark and it was lite up. Took sooo many photos 😊
We went to a cafe to get some dinner and now I am at the supermarket using their internet to write this 😊
