Today we slept in again.
Today we walked the length of George Street from our hotel to Circular Quay. Had a look at the Opera House from a distance. Walked around The Rocks area of Sydney. There was a small market with a guy singing (well) on the street. Seemed a nice area to be in.
We then sat in McDonalds or McCafe and had a crossaint and used their free wifi for a bit. Then we walked back down George Street looking in the shops and exploaring a bit more.
We went back to the hotel and had an exciting dinner of jam sandwiches and crisps.
We decided we wanted to watch the Royal Wedding btu didn't want to sit around waiting for it to start so we went for another wander. Passed through Chinatown which we will revisit another day and found ourselves at Darling Harbour. This was about 7pm, so it was quite dark. (Gets dark early) It was just so pretty. We just sat on the steps looking at the view for a while.
We then found our way back and watched the Royal Wedding.
😊
