It was a struggle to pack up our house and get everything onto the removalist van in time for our departure but not as much of a struggle as it was to drive out of Newcastle not knowing when we would be back. We loved living near some of Australia's best beaches, cities and wineries. Newcastle truely is one of Australia's hidden gems.

Our journey up the east coast towards Qld revealed some absolutely breathtaking scenery! We were both fans of Byron Bay, Coffs, and Grafon looked good too.

After two days of driving we finally arrived at Colodan. There is nowhere that makes us feel more Australian or more at home than spending time in this part of Qld. Ariana saw her first wild pig, sat bareback on a horse, made friends with the poddy calves, and drove a diesel ute for the first time too!

A week in Rockhampton quicky completing final travel details and catching up with old friends just wasn't long enough but before we knew it we were on the road to Brisbane International Airport ready for our departure. Here we go!!
