Sorry the video uploader is not working - travel blog sucks!
What a great plane flight everything went extremely smoothly with a short stop in Calgary in the sun and onward to Halifax directly. We brought a great lunch so our digestive systems were not compromised with bad processed airplane food. The stewardess Lisa has a sister Josette Dalsin who is a faculty person at TRU in education and we know her (Sarah mostly) - coincidences really happen!!!

We did get some unfortunate information through email from our truck transport company. Their truck broke down in Kenora and wont be leaving until today so I expect we will be renting a car our bicycles or something for 3 -5 days until our car gets here. Great idea to send our car out baaaaaaaad company - Double Line Transport.. They say all the right things, have all the right policies but back nothing up with action.

We are staying at the Garden Inn South in Downtown Halifax, quaint house/BB from the turn of the last century across the street from the Hospital. Good location!! 120$ a night. We will be moving to the university tomorrow where it is cheaper.

When we got in last night we asked the hostess about seafood restaurants and she sent us to McAlvies but it was closed so we went across the street to an Irish pub for great dinner and rocking music. How Erica would love this place! It is just like we imagined the Maritimes would be like.
