Day 1 - Sunday May 16th

Left Spokane 12:30ish, goal = Spanaway WA. Stopped several times, letting Daisy run. Started raining before Cle Elum, then just past Cle Elum traffic slowed to a crawl. Finally passed a Surburban with a u-haul trailer that had jack knifed and looked like the trailer had landed on the roof of the suv. Appeared all to be unhurt, they were gathering backpacks and the u-haul had stayed locked even though it was smooshed good. Traffic picked up again.

Arrived Puyallup, called cousin - sorry dates mixed up and other CA friends over. Re-arranged to stay another night and meet them Monday eve. Monday bought new "house" batteries for RV.
