Charleston
Our campsite in Charleston, we slept under the shelter Got woken up by Hannah early in the morning, whispering from outside my tent. I eventually got up, very tired and went to meet her near reception to go for a walk on the beach. I went to the bathroom and saw that Amy was coming as well. We headed down to the beach and noticed it was very cloudy, we were pretty disappointed because it was a lovely night last night. We didn’t make it as far as the pier and turned back because we couldn’t really see much. Arriving back at the campsite everyone else was beginning to get up so people started packing their tents. Dave and I made a hot breakfast for everyone then started getting yelled at by Jon because we hadn’t packed our tent yet, even though we just made him breakfast. We all got in the van and headed off to Charleston.
We again drove the majority of the day and arrived in Charleston mid afternoon. We thought taking a guided tour around this old city was the thing to do and Jon found us a guide who was offering us a discount. We got into his tour bus and he took us

A fancy house in Charleston around the town, it was easily the most boring ‘adventure tour’ I had ever been on. Most of us were struggling not to fall asleep, Dave didn’t manage. He dropped us off round the corner of the main shopping strip so we could have a look around and we went up and down the small strip. Most of us found Charleston very boring, there just wasn’t much to do here. We were eating ice-cream in a cold stone shop when Ben confessed that he was thinking about leaving the tour due to lack of cash. We sat chatting about it for quite some time and convinced him to stay and that we’d give him any of the left over food kitty which we were yet to receive.
We headed to Charleston campsite and couldn’t be bothered setting up our tents. We threw down the blue ground mat but Jon recommended us to put up our tents because it gets very dewy in the morning. Instead we decided to sleep under a picnic area. After dinner our trek group had a much needed meeting. A while ago Tina asked us if we could stay three nights in Key West, so

Adventure Sightseeing tour?!? I don't think so... she could go diving. But now after thinking about it everyone else in the group wanted an extra day in Orlando, we had a vote and decided that we were going to spend three nights in Orlando. Afterwards we started up a poker game and had a massive drinking party with the other trek group. We played plenty of drinking games and everyone was drunk. We stayed up till the early hours of the morning then eventually Hannah and I grabbed our sleeping bags and went to sleep next to each other. As I kissed her goodnight I turned over to see Dave play fighting people in the other group, he was up for quite a while longer. Tonight we slept under the picnic cover under the stars.
