We drove to Oregon Coast today to do another optional activity, which everyone participated in, a Sand Dunes tour. We arrived at our campsite to find they didn’t really have anywhere for us to camp so they threw us in the corner near the storage sheds and tractors. It wasn’t a big deal, we set up our tents and got our gear ready for the Sand Dunes. Jon warned us that if we do take our camera, to put it in a bag because sand is going to get everywhere, he wasn’t kidding. We arrived at this fun park place which had things like mini-golf, boat rides etc. We bought our tickets for the tour and had to drive down the road to the starting point. I was so excited this was going to be awesome. We each got some eye goggles and jumped in the sand dune buggy, we got the driver to take some group photos of us then we were ready to go.

We drove around for quite a while going up and down these massive, massive sand dunes, some reached 400ft high, it was like a rollercoaster, absolutely amazing so much fun. I took a few photos but generally it was pretty difficult while moving. We were driving around for about an hour before we headed back but it was so much fun. When we returned to the campsite a few of us considered hiring our own four wheeler buggy’s but in the end didn’t bother. By then it was late afternoon and we ready for some food, we made dinner and just hung around the campfire drinking and playing guitar. We put the campfire out and fell asleep.
