Vacation begins!

We are going to Ramrod Key, Florida with Jason and Lola for a week. The owner of the company Jason works for has a beach house there and part of Jason’s benefit is staying there. (Ramrod Key is an island in the lower Florida Keys. Originally named Roberts Island, Ramrod Key was renamed for a ship named Ramrod, which was wrecked on a reef south of there in the early nineteenth century). First we will stay in Vegas for a week to spend time with Jason and Lola. I flew from LA to Las Vegas and arrived around 7 pm. Jason picked me up at the airport. Ken drove the RV from Tucson. He was already there. Jason’s boss Brittany’s parents live across the street from Jason and they are allowing us to park in front of their house for the next week. When Jason and I arrived, Ken, Lola and Brittany were swimming at James and Monica’s pool. Monica had prepared a tray of cheeses, salami and crackers. They had red wine for me. We swam in the pool and got in the hot tub. It was a very nice beginning to a vacation. Lola and I retired early and watched ‘Lady and the Tramp’ in the RV. She spent the night with us in the RV. She told Pops to sleep on the couch so she could sleep with me. We had a great time talking and laughing. She asked about everyone’s middle name. I told her Pops was ‘Fred’ and she got the giggles over that. Then I told her Pop’s brother Craig’s middle name was ‘Clifford’ and we giggled some more. Soon Pops joined us and we giggled some more. There truly is nothing better than the uninhibited,
