My dear cousin Louise. We will miss you so much. R.I.P. Louise Chabrier Reeves Age 20 of Passed away September 26, 2007 after a long and valiant fight with Leukemia. She was born February 27, 1987 in San Diego, CA. Louise resided in Ann Arbor from the time she was 8yrs. old. She graduated from Huron High School in 2005, where she was involved with the Huron Players and TheYoung Democrats. After graduation, she moved to New York City to continue her creative pursuits in fashion design at Parson's School of Fashion Design. During her sophomore year, she returned to C.S. Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor for treatment. Her mother; Christine Maxey-Reeves, her brother; Casey Reeves and her fiancée and beloved caregiver; Joshua Polaczyk survive. First, the Extraterrestrial Highway. Not one alien the whole drive! So dissapointing! Actually, there weren't even a bunch of hoaky signs posted all along this road, which is famous for being he road on which the most flying saucer a d alien sightings have taken place. It's also supposed to be the highway off of which Area 51 exists. But in areality, the highway borders an air force proving ground, where they fly over and drop bombs and flares all the time. It also has only 1 "town", which consists of a couple of houses, a couple of trailers, and a gas pump that reads "last gas for 110 miles". 1st to 3rd August 2006 The ride across Nevada was, in terms of time, short but sweet. However, this blog entry about it is not. So, put the kettle on, put your feet up and settle down for more of my musings on all things American. The chosen route across the state was Highway Fifty, "The Lonliest Road in America." So named because a AAA representative once described it in Life Magazine as "Totally empty" and stated "We warn all motorists not to drive there unless they are confident of their survival skills." Not entirely accurate to my mind but, not exactly untrue either.
