First photo in Glacier Last night was pretty fun. I hung out at the Kauffman’s, and they have 2 boys at home that are close to my age. We share a lot in common in that we like to wrench on things and ride fast machines. They are all pretty laid back, and it was nice to relax for the evening.
I left this morning to go drive around Glacier National Park, and I spent about 9 hours on the road. The scenery in the park is simply amazing! I think it might be some of the best scenery I have ever seen. The Oregon coast ranks up there in my list, but this might even have that beat. I attached a few pictures I took today, but photographs just don’t do justice to this amazing scenery.
I kept running into the same bikers all the way up the mountain, and had a chance to chat with one of the guys at the top. He was a pretty cool guy from Idaho, and we might end up riding together when he makes his visits to Washington and Oregon. I rode down the mountain with that group of 4 bikes, and went my separate

At McDonald's Lodge way at St Mary. I think one of the things I have enjoyed most on this trip is the people. I meet so many people whether it is just at a gas station or cruising around town or a park or whatever.
I am pretty tired from my outing today, in fact I was stopping about every 15 miles on the way home from East Glacier because I was so tired. So I am going to make a call or 2 to plan out tomorrow night, then take a nap and relax the rest of the night.
