Horseback Riding
Glacier National Park Today we drove from Canada to Glacier National Park, Montana. It was a long ride. When we got to Montana, we went horseback riding which was sooo much fun. My horse's name was Jimmy and our guide said Jimmy was the smallest horse but she also said that Jimmy's breed was one of the smartest kinds. The scenery was really pretty. It was funny because Vitor and I had the same breed horse.
We saw a black bear and her cubs after horseback riding. First they were kind of far away, but then we saw them very close to our car. After the horseback riding and seeing the bears, we went to another store to by fish and tacos to make fish tacos. Vitor did all the cooking. It was soooo good. Finally we went to sleep.

The next day we went on a hike to get to a lake and at the start my dad tricked us by putting a stuffed bear that he bought on a rock while Vitor, Ania and I were near a creek. Then my dad came and said "guys, guys come there is a bear!" and we
Sofia and Jimmie
Glacier National Park all thought it was a real bear. Then I found out that it was the stuffed animal. I was really happy and grabbed it. On the way to the lake we say this weird looking tree that Vitor and I climbed. As we were walking, some people said that the berries were not poisonous so we grabbed some and ate them and they were really good. Then we finally came to the lake. It was really pretty. After that we heard that some people said that they saw a moose down at the lake so we took a shortcut to the lake and saw a big moose. We took lots of pictures. Finally we went to our cabin in an RV park and we ordered pizza and then I went to sleep.
Well the next day we were leaving so we go to the airport and well.....Tomorrow is School!!!!

Daddy's Comments:
Another incredible 2 days in Glacier National Park....After the long drive from Banff, went horse back riding in an incredible scenic area. Absolutely stunning scenery and it was so fun to see Sofia on her horse, Jimmie. She looked so cute using her legs to get the horse going. She absolutely loved it. Shortly after horseback riding, we were able to see bears on the side of the mountain. Vitor had the good eye and was able to follow better than most of us, but we got some good views. But those views did not compare to the views we had when we decided to drive closer. Seeing the momma bear with her 2 cubs up very close had both Sofia and Ania screaming with excitement like little girls. Really cool and would have loved to stay longer but the ranger would not allow us and other cars to stay as the bears had gotten within 100 feet or so. Stayed at the campsite near St. Mary's Lake. Really windy but our tents held up well.
Moose
Glacier National Park Vitor cooked some great broccoli, beans and fist tacos. Delicious.
Following day went on a short hike to a lake. We picked and ate thimble berries and was able to see a huge moose on the lake. It was a nice short hike. Then a beautiful drive along the "Going to the Sun Road". I could see why it was known as one of the most beautiful drives in the USA. We ended the trip staying at a nice little cabin at an RV park and campground in Kalispell that we all wish we could have stayed longer in. Sofia's top 10 list is pretty similar to mine, except my highlight was definitely how all 4 of us really enjoyed each other with countless laughs in multiple stunningly beautiful settings......Look forward to the next trip.....
