This will be short and sweet. Having a great time here. Learning lots about bears and taking lots of photos. Great group of photographers in our workshop. We start at 6 am and end at dark. Short break in the middle of the day, but usually uploading images to computer, etc.

Here are a couple of images I worked on today.

More when I have time.

My thoughts and prayers are with folks on the East Coast impacted with Hurricane Irene. Hope all are safe and no property damage.

Bruce

There are tons of bears here. Before it was a wildlife sanctuary, Vince fed the bears. This has continued with the sanctuary. They feed the bears food that they normally forage for and help them prepare for hibernation.

this cub is named Olivia. She is an orphan and the volunteers at the sanctuary are working hard to make sure she had enough food to survive the winter. They have plans to get it into a den if she doesn't manage to do it on her own.
