Day 165 (Thursday 01/10/09, NJJ)
Up at 10am. Drank some Powerade to relieve the hangover. Walked to Johnny's PoBoy restaurant on St Louis for breakfast, neither of us had a PoBoy then but it was recommended for all breakfast foods. Certainly was delicious. We walked around the city, saw the Mississippi river, Jackson Square, Bourbon St, Armstrong Park and St Louis Cemetery Number One. We had to get some more Powerade at a gas station. For dinner we each had jambalaya at Cafe Maspero, Jay had the Coors Light and I had a strawberry daiquiri. We walked to St Peters St for 6pm for the Haunted History tour which I really enjoyed. It stopped at a number of places for story telling including Lafitte's Blacksmiths Shop Bar and ended at Jackson Square. I had to buy the obligatory NOLA party mask. Whilst taking a photo on Pirates Alley I heard footsteps behind me but looked and there was no one there!
