Day 166 (Friday 02/10/09, NJJ)
One month of travelling left! Taxi to National car rental at NOLA airport. Lunch at Denny's. Back into NOLA downtown. Drove St Charles Ave to Garden district. Stopped at Lafeyette Cemetery No 1 for a walk around then on to Jean Lafitte National Park area called Barataria Preserve. Walked along the swamp boardwalk but kept getting bitten by midges. Drove to Bayou Coquille for a very short walk. After a few hours drive we checked into America's Best Value Inn in Moss Point, Mississippi. I didn't eat much for dinner because we went to Barnhill's where nearly everything was deep fried eeeewww and my stomach couldn't take it.
