Day 5 - Waking up with a sore head and a little worse for wear, we headed to the Makers Mark distillery where we were shown around and told how the whisky is made. There was a tasting at the end but at this point the smell was enough for us! Once our tour was over it was back in the van, straight to Nashville. A really interesting and different place. There were bands and solo artists playing every minute of everyday, with music blaring out of every bar down the strip with loads of bikers walking around with their Harley's parked on the street. The bars are kinda dark and dingy but like going back in time, pretty cool. In the evening we went for dinner and a bit of line dancing. Charlotte was up most of the time picking up the dances ALL night, whilst i was making friends with the toilet haha Everyone was ready to leave but charlotte was a bit reluctant because she was enjoying herself way to much 😊

Day 6 - Following day was memphis - Tennessee, we went to Graceland where Elvis bought his first home at 21 and where he was finally layed to rest. The museum and the house was awesome, really gave you an insight into his life and by the sounds of it what a great guy he was. Was really interesting as hadn't really known that much about him before! In the evening we went to Beale street, again full of live music and bikers! A very lively town but once again very strict on ID...you cant even walk down the street unless you show your ID and there were police men everywhere. We now have a very comfy hotel bed for two nights...to say we were excited was an understatement! :-D

Day 7 - Just involved us looking around the town of Memphis and speaking to the locals. Not a very productive day as it was a sunday and alot of things were closed.

Day 8 - We drove to Arkansas where the hot springs are. A few of us went to the baths which consisted of 4 different baths all at different temperatures. The actual natural springs are 143 F degrees which is cooled before it reaches the baths. The max bath was 104 F degrees and it was HOT! Took a walk up a small mountain after and came across an actual spring, you could see the steam coming from it!
