1. I think the most heroic is Sal Dimileli. Many Americans are currently struggling with economic hard times,andSal helps about 500 people a year with food, rent, and other necessities. He is making a positive contribution in the lives of many people in his community.

2.If I had the chance, I would nominate all of the soldiers who have put their lives at risk and have fought for our country to be the heros of 2011. I think they deserve to be remembered since they have served our country.

3. In history, we study people who have made a significant change in the United States or in the world. For instance, we study people like Martin Luther King Jr. and Rosa Parks who have contributed to the civil rights movement. I think we, the people of the United States, decide what is heroic.
