After dinner at McCormick & Schmicks Seafood Restaurant
One of the things I remember from the summit was the story of Roger Bannister and the 4-minute mile. Prior to his breaking the record, everyone thought it couldn't be done, that physically, humans were incapable of running a mile under 4 minutes.

Bannister thought differently. "It is possible and I'm going to do it." On April 6, 1954, Bannister ran the mile in less than 4 minutes. By the end of the year, 37 other runners would do it. By 1955, 300 more runners would.

All because one person was able to imagine a different reality. Perhaps our potential is limitless. What we imagine, we create into being.
