A silver sun shines on the water.
Today was the day we experienced Alcatraz. It’s such a tiny little island but so much too see. We took a tour of the jail cells and I could never imagine living out here in those tiny little cells while San Francisco lived and breathed a short shark infested swim away.

Views of the city from Alcatraz are amazing too!

Afterwards we took the bus to the Golden Gate Bridge to attempt to walk across it. Halfway there we realized we'd rather just go back and go eat.

Oh, and travelling with couples can suck! Especially if they start fighting and all you want to do is enjoy the town and the views. The waters down below were tempting, very tempting!
