New Years weekend in Tahoe

Having got back from Santa Cruz and the camping, i almost head straight up to Tahoe to meet up with other friends and who were chilling up there and had invited me to spend new years weekend with them. It was the most chilled new years eve i ever had, with good friends, good drinks and good food. Having taken 2 buses and a train, total 5hr journey to get up there, i can say this place was well worth the trip, as it was calm and beautiful peaceful scenery and that was just what i was after this year.

We saw in the new year and made the most of every minute up there, by taking lovely walks around the lake and i even dived into the lake on new years day as it was crytal clear and very tempting. I must say the dive in was pretty chilly, in fact freezing, but made me feel alive and gave me a good buzz to kick off the new year!!!! The drive back to SF with friends was ofcourse much shorter than the public transport trip but either way it was worth it.
