Hey everyone,

Lisa, Jake, the kids and I have been staying at our dental hygeniest's house. She so graciously allowed us to stay here in her wonderfully big pyramid house. Her view is spectacular! There are about ten horses that graze around her property and we can go through the pasture to the beach below. Her property rests at the edge of the bluff overlooking Kachemak Bay and the Kenai Mountains.

She is such as sweetheart of a lady and we are all so grateful to have become friends with her.

There are pictures attached of our days here so far. We all leave on Saturday morning or Friday night. I don't mind leaving Friday night, it gives us a head start on our travel.

My dog Dot is a clamming dog. She finds a clam and goes crazy trying to dig them up. When Lisa, Josephine and I went out on the beach yesterday, she was so determined to find the clam she dug a huge hole and stuck her face in the muck up to her eyeballs. She looked like a hyena!

I didn't get pics of her digging but I have a pic

of the aftermath. She is such a character! Vicki has insisted that we stay with her anytime that we come home for visits to Homer and that we stay with her until we find a place to live once my schooling is finished. She is amazingly sweet and wonderful! We are very blessed to have become friends with her.

The sun is shining and the yard is thick and green here. The tide is receding and our view is clear skies and beautiful scenery. This house is in such a great location and has so much room. I would love to one day have such a fine place to live.

Well, enjoy the pictures... more later...
