Back home sitting in the sunshine watching the shadows on the snow marvelling at how beautiful it is at -26C ...I do like it and have the clothes to deal with it . SO MUCH better than the balmy mild CLOUDY ,CLOUDY , CLOUDY depressing days of January . At least one can dress for this weather and soak up enough solar energy to function with a smile .

Finally ready to post some photos . Again I took way to many and it is hard to chose but here goes ... in batches based on location .

I had heard that Mexico City was dirty ... I did not find that at all in any of the areas I was in . I think the Mexican people are proud of their city and keep it clean.

A very old little church has been restored and a plaza created around it . It is all about 8ft lower than the street (sinking in the marshy land?) and planted with grass and flowers . Quite pretty actually .

I don't even remember the name of this church ...there are SO many built probably in the 17th century . The doors , and the facades were amazing and the interiors lived up to the packaging.
