Again I will share images of my journey . I liked Jordan . It is not as aggressive as Egypt and it is also much calmer in all ways . There were women around walking , working and shopping . They wore headscarves but I saw very few covered faces .The south is desert of course but the north is agricultural . It has been a land desired by many over the years and has some pretty awesome ruins ...Roman ,Ottoman and Crusader... Enjoy these photos ( if you click on them they will enlarge for better detail ) and let me know if you would like me to keep you on the mailing list .

The treasury in the sunlight...it was beautiful . Check the size of the folks in front for an indication of how big that building is and it was carved OUT of the rock . I think it deserves the new title of one of the man-made wonders of the world.

Good photos
We saw so many of the same things. A special bond. I loved Jordan and the Jordanians. I would go back anytime. But I also want to spend time in Israel. Lucky you.

Made my day ...
had to chuckle seeing you laughing and 'swimming' in the dead sea -- shades of our Manitou Lake! But the ladies in black drinking coke -- wanted to strip for them -- not so funny! Your choice of pictures is like a history lesson -- view life in the Middle East in a much more positive light now -- they have so much natural beauty along with amazing man-made monuments -- interesting that they continue to live a simple life! Thanks for sharing!
