Massive Arrival Hall I am sure this applies to almost anyone when travelling with ELAL, or in and out of this world's most horrible, unfriendly and most security conscious airport, especially when someone asking stupid favour for not putting Israeli entry stamp on the passport, like me.....
"May I request you don't stamp on my passport?" This is my major concern when I visiting Israel.
"WHY???" A rude immigration lady replied"
"Because I need to use this passport to visit Syria and Lebabnon next year."
"Whaaaat ? NO! NO! Stand back!! Staaaaand Back!!!"
I was so shocked with her reply, and I was immidiately detained to a small temporary room, next to me were loads of "innocent" travellers from The US, Canada, India and Russia, they were also asking the same stupid favour for not stamping on their passport.
I was waiting for more than an hour and finally it was my turn now, two Jewish lady grapped me into an interview room and asked me alot of questions :
Why are you here? As a tourist? When did you go to Jordan? When were you in Iran? When will you go Syria? Why Yemen? Do you know anyone

Welcome to Isarel there in Iran? Why are you going Norway? How long are you staying in Israel? Who do you know? Where are you staying? Show me your itinerary. What does your father doing? What do you do for living? Why did you go to Thailand for so many times? Why did you ask our collegue not to stamp on your passport? Why you bringing so many winter clothings? What is this for? May I check your ipod? Why are you listening to Indian songs? Can I see your phone book? who is this? May I see your wallet? Why are you bringing Singapore Dollars to Israel? May I see your camera? Why did you take picture of the airport? May I delete it? "
After answering all her questions, she called another immigration officer who took me to a separate room to repeat my answers to the same questions. Ok, I am ok with it, and done, now got cleared, and a very nice immigration incharge who gave me a paper with a stamp instead of giving me a chop on my passport, considering I will go to Syria next year, then to get my baggage.
It took me more than 3 hours and no doubt my bag was disappeared from the baggage belt, so I randomly asked a lady staff and check for my bag, then again she asked for my passport and asked :
Why are you so late ? Why are you here in Israel? As a tourist? When did you go to Jordan? When were you in Iran? When will you go Syria? Why Yemen? Do you know anyone there in Iran? Why are you going Norway? How long are you staying in Israel? Who do you know? Where are you staying? Show me your itinerary. What does your father doing? What do you do for living? Why did you go to Thailand for so many times? Why did you ask our collegue not to stamp on your passport? Why you bringing so many winter clothings? What is this for? May I check your ipod? Why are you listening to Indian songs? Can I see your phone book? who is this? May I see your wallet? Why are you bringing Singapore Dollars to Israel? May I see your camera? Why did you take picture of the airport? May I delete it? "
After answering all her question and again, she took me to the baggage office and get my bag.
Now I got to deal with airport security officers when I passing thru the custom check. Because I had my entry stamp on a piece of immigration form instead of my passport, now it was their turn to ask the 50 questions.
Where is your stamp? Show me your paper!! Why? Why did you ask them to stamp on your passport? Where are you staying in Jerusalem? Why? Where do you go next? Why? Do you have a guide book? May I see it? Can you show me places you intend to visit? May I see the page that you have circled? How do you go to Jerusalem? Why? What will do in Jerusalem? Will you go to Palestine? Why? For how long? Why? Do you know any one there? You don't, why? Do you speak Arabic? Where did you learn your English? Why?
After answering all his questions this time, he was gentle and said "Welcome to Israel!!"
