We got to sleep in today and get rid of the last of the jetlag. The Cantor led us on a walk to see Yael's home in Haifa. We saw the building and waved to her neighbors. We saw where she gets her sandwiches, but everything was closed on Shabbat. We took a nice walk along the Promenade back to the hotel and saw some local entertainers. We are off to our sister temple later today.

Shabbat walk to Yael's house
Kids young (and much older) joined me for a Shabbat walk to Yael's house. We must have been quite a sight, 30 strong. Her neighbor offered to lend us the key but we figured there wasn't anything interesting to eat in the fridge so we politely declined. Yael lives in a great location across from local stores and one block off the beautiful Bahai Gardens and Promenade. Wow! But Yael, you need some landscaping. Let's talk! Rica
