I have been tattooed 31 times by 26 artists in 14 countries including most of Sth Am.If you would like my opinions on my favourite artists ,I'd be happy to share.I will only recomend excellent artists who are safe and clean and who, compared to Western countries, are dirt cheap.
My favourite Black n Grey artist is in Bolivia and favourite colour artist is in Colombia but there are great artists all over
Reply to this It is a pity my boyfriend isnt comming with me to S. America in November with me. He wants to get a tattoo. Looks like he is going to have to pay the German prices. I just have one tattoo, and dont want any more so wont be taking advantage of dirt cheap S. American prices.

Reply to this Hey, my husband is big on tattoos and would love to get one when we do our travels around South America, we are starting in Rio at carnival and ending in Colombia. What is the approx price for tattoos? Also would love to hear of recommendations for black and grey.
Thanks
Reply to this As I said in the 1st message my fave black n grey artist is in Bolivia .WilberTattoo.com is his website .The best realism artist I've seen ,his name is Kike and he is at BigBrother Tattoo, Bogota Colombia .In Bucuramanga ,near San Gil ,Colombia is Miguel Llanes at Krishna Studios a great artist and a great bloke.Gabriel Puas at Puas Tattoos ,Santiago Chile , Eduardo Sasia at Evolution Tattoos Monte Video Uraguay and Tito at Viva Tattoos Buenos Aires are all excellent artists. All these artists have worked on me at least 1nc and I would recomend highly.
About prices .It depends on the country. In Bolivia I was on the table for 3.5hours and cost me US$70 ,in Peru some basic work was $20 ,Colombia the most detailed colour tat I have was $100 ,at least $400 in Australia for similar.I got my whole foot done ,Inca style, in Ecuador for $100.Long story short it changes country to country ,shop to shop, but is a hell of a lot cheaper than any of my Aussie or European work by a long way
Reply to this So I'm traveling to Columbia in January for the first time. My goal is to sleeve my left arm through out my travels. I read that your favorite color artist is in Columbia and would love any recommendations for artist over there. My priorities are obviously quality of work and most important sanitation. Any help wothers finding artist would be awesome!!
