Here we are at 8 am, Terminal 5 on a wet and windy Saturday morning. For those who may have been concerned about our/my lack of planning for a 3-month trip, here are the suitcase stats: one suitcase for clothes, one rucksack for shoes, 2nd rucksack for overspill, flight bag for important documents and medicines. (I promise we haven't got a crew of trunk-carrying Sherpas off camera). What's more, the packing took 4 hours from start to finish with Harry having half an hour shut-eye while I decided what to take. But here's a tip: if you're living out of a suitcase, make sure you put your stuff on top!
