Yesterday we went to the infamous university town of Oxford, and I fell in love with it! The buildings and grounds are amazing, and I quite enjoyed seeing how much Sydney uni is a mini Oxford hehehe... There are a few words for the wary though with tours and stuff... The information stand are just for profit and will only put you on and give you info on their own tour, which is a bit toffy but interesting... The ones that wear coloured caps looked to have a bit more fun and are smaller groups so would be a bit better...

From Oxford we headed down to Henley on thames where the regattas are held. It is such a gorgeous river side town, truly beautiful and peaceful and a fantatuc finish to the Oxford trip. Had a tea there and then off to the hotel which was equally as awesome...

Then today we had arranged to have tea with the queen while she was out at Windsor castle. Unfortunately she had double booked us and was required at the royal garter ceremony and couldn't make our tea, so we settled for wandering around Windsor instead. Windsor is a cool town, classy but relaxed... It's almost a case of 'oh yeah the castle, right sorry forgot about that' which was nice... I really liked it there, so will have to catch up with lizzie some other time...

Finally we headed back to london and returned the car... Didn't do very much today, but went out for yummy Vegan dinner with a friend over here... We went to a place in soho called beetroot and is similar in structure to the forest in brisbane... Mmmmm lots of yum....

Off to NYC!!
Hi Honey, I must say you are the most informative traveller I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, I literally feel as though I am there with all the visuals. The castle's are breathtaking and they are really into their mazes/hedges. Now the the US is beckoning, let me know when u hit NYC, I may need you to pick up something from Tiffany's for me and possibly a couple of items from GAP (happy for you to post it so u do not have to lug it around and given there is a FEDEX truck on every corner I am hoping I am not pushing the friendship??) Looking forward to the next installment!! Much Love xox
