Mum's birthday,

happy birthday! Today Mum is 85. So Alex and I took a cake to be eaten with coffee, and Dad provided some fizz to be drunk afterwards, and a good time was had by all! After that, Alex and I took a sandwhich up to a wild spot of common land, where several cuckoos were heard. And now we're off to Welshpool to collect a takeaway curry for tea.
