Belfast. I don't think I can put into words my anticipation or feelings before we got there. I had heard and read the history. I've seen movies. I had spoken to people the whole tour who had been affected by "The Troubles". I'm going to try to just narrate through the pictures as my memories come back. The Clonard Memorial Garden on the Catholic side of town. Many many names on many many walls. The neighbourhood surrounding was destroyed in the 60's.

There are two girls on here. One was killed at the age of 4, the other at 5. I found it hard to listen to our guide when I read that.

Peace
It's so amazing that the people who have been through the worst that humanity has to offer, are the ones that speak out so loudly, so freely, about peace. You'd think that they would be the most afraid but it's quite the opposite. I'm moved by the stories and names of this place.
