Now we have arrived into London. We found our hotel, the London House Hotel, to be simple, clean with a nice simple breakfast, with an excellent location related to the underground, many excellent restaurants, a shopping centre, Marks & Spencer food store, etc. Would most definitely stay here again. After arriving and checking in, we wasted no time to go downtown to see the sights, and pleasantly came upon an oyster, sea food, & wine fair at Haysmarket. Lots of people, good music, excellent sea food. What a fun Sunday afternoon. Then we went for a walk to the old London Bridge and walked around the castle and numerous downtown streets.

The next day, unfortunately Arlene came down with a bad sore throat so I ventured downtown on the Hop on Hop off bus tour taking in many of the sites including much walking. So many sights to see. We felt we did not have enough time here to take in all the sites, but have to say, we sure included allot anyways during this short time here. Our hotel was very very close to Hyde Park, so twice I ventured through the park to make sure I saw the

On our last day, Arlene and I were able to get tickets right away for an early morning tour of Buchingham Palace which we enjoyed tremendously, then decided to stop at Harrods department store which was an adventure itself. We enjoyed the food market here. There were many sites we did not see, but will save them for another trip.

On our last night, we attended the new musical, "Wicked" at the Apollo Victoria Theatre. A super excellent musical show, which we both would certainly recommend to attend if in your area and what a nice way to end our trip. The next day, we were actually on our way home, each going our own separate way.
