Yesterday after our test Bryan and I went to Regents Park and soaked up the sun. We made it a whole day without rain!! It was so nice to be outside in a beautiful park on a beautiful day.
Yesterday was Larissa's 30th birthday. Her husband got her a really nice hotel room in a Marriott here in town. The view from the room looked at Big Ben!!! But who cares about the view, the beds were AMAZING!!! I'm pretty much used to sleeping on a board in my flat...so sleeping on a plush down bed was much needed. We went to this wine bar called Gordon's that is supposedly the oldest wine bar in London. It is partially an underground cellar and is candlelit. It sort of reminded me of the Phantom of the Opera. It was crowded and hot but had a really nice ambience. Then we walked back over the bridge to this fun latin restaurant. We ate tapas and had yummy drinks. After that we hung out in the embankment area and enjoyed some interesting people watching. This morning we woke up and watched some of the Tour de France activities on the Westminster Bridge (out the window of the hotel). Much fun was had by all. (-:

I think we might hang out in the park again today. I'm thinking of planning a little day trip for myself since everyone is heading out of town this week. Maybe Salisbury or Canterbury...not sure yet.
