AKA Hogwarts!!!
Today was a day of sightseeing and double decker tour buses. There are stops for these buses all around London and as long as you know which color tour you’re on, you can get on and off at any of these stops. We got off to look at Westminister Abbey and to look at St. Paul’s Cathedral, which were both really cool, old buildings. The architecture was incredible; Westminister Abbey looked like Hogwarts! 😊
At Westminister Abbey, they had all the old kings and queens buried, along with different writers like Charles Dickens and other famous people that I’d actually heard of! Then of course Caroline had to spill her coke all over the benches where the monks sat thousands of years ago. And at St. Paul’s Cathedral, we climbed 878 stairs. (Yes, we counted.) Ouch! It was a stretch but we got to the top and got to look out over all of London!
At 7:30 that night (1:30PM Austin time), the Sound of Music began at Palladium Theater. The lead nun was great, bringing everyone to tears. Basically the whole show was mind-blowing.
So, I’d call our first day of Europe a success. We’ll see what tomorrow brings...

This sounds so cool!..... HARRY POTTER!
Hey Raglands! This day sounded incredible! I can't believe that you saw the Sound of Music, that is one of my all-time favorite movies! And I can't believe that Westminister Abbey looked like something from a Harry Potter movie, knowing me I probably would have spazzed out :) Aww, Caroline is really having a hard time, but I guess mistakes are what makes traveling memorable! Anyways, I know that y'all are having a fantastic time in London and I can't wait to hear more from you! Everything seems so adventurous and exciting! Well, have many and great adventures tomorrow and the rest of your trip, we miss you guys!! Love y'all.
