Well here we are, ready for the off! Don't know how we managed to pack all the essentials into two suitcases ( who will be over the limit? Taxi driver recons its the one with he big blue case.Hmmmm).

Ian is sprawled out watching Top Gear whilst we wait for a couple of hefty burgers to arrive to soak up some of the alcohol consumed over the past week. Many thanks folks. Our sons are getting excited about the journey we are taking although they do doubt our competence. I simply don't know how we managed to get them to adulthood without losing them with our baggage somewhere!

We took the easy option and took a taxi from home to the airport... not a decadent as you would think when all of the alternative transport costs are added up. Very smooth ride with a pleasant driver. Well done Ace Travel from Barton in Lincolnshire.
