Union Jack flew today - Queen was not in residence
Today was a trip to Windsor castle, the last of our stops around England. I'd been to Windsor nine years ago, and as soon as I got onsite the memories all came wafting back in. I was dissapointed that you could not take pictures everywhere. St. George's Cathedral in particular. This cathedral is extremely detailed, and is worth checking out. There are some kings and queens burried there, with fantastic tombs. There is a regular church service, and the guides are more then willing to give you any information you request.

The changing of the gaurd ceremony takes place every day at 11am, just outside the church...show up early if you want the better view! It was a nice ceremony, with a full brass band. They played the Indiana Jones theme when I was there.

Just outside of the castle is a shopping district, with many outlets...eating outside the castle will save you a bundle too...
