We drive from Valencia to Alicante by the express way. It was a great road and we saw lots of orange trees and farm house on the way and a few castles. Alicante is on the Mediterranean Sea lots of people head here in summer. The sea looks fantastic but the beaches are not that good. We shopped at our favorite European supermarket Carrefour for dinner. As the sangria (69 eu) is cheaper then orange juice (1.20 eu) so we now drink it instead! We stayed at a etap hotel which was only 39 eu a night +3.60 eu each for bfast parking was free. We are enjoying having a car it gives us lots of freedom to explore.
