This morning I woke up early enough to be vaguely awake when Christine came with tea. I decided to head down straight away, and actually make it to breakfast on time! It was then time for our last lesson... We covered the rest of the past tenses, which was quite good fun to make up stories to connect and differentiate the tenses! At one point, we were talking about a fictional person who broke their leg falling down the stairs. There are four different ways of combining the two verbs, two of which were hilarious... While breaking their leg, they walked down the stairs - the plot of a gore film? The other was 'she used to break her leg when going down the stairs', as though its a habit she has...
