Crazy Kids!!!
see, they do Bunny ears here too!!! Welcome to day 3!!!
I started today off with an AMAZING breakfast of coffee and a pastery type snack which tastes something like a soft won-ton with cabbage inside. It sounds grose but throw some jam on that and boy is it deeeeelish! And I'm proud to say I've conquered Romanian coffe without sugar or milk!!!! Yay!
As the students arrived, I first noticed that our size had grown!! Good news travels fast as we gained 5 new kids today!!
We played tic tac toe and prepped for the day. We went outside and the kids started asking to play ratsa ratsa gooska from yesterday. I couldn't say no. After that we continued on to play Simon Says or Simon' Spine (Spee-neh). We would alternate between using english and Romanian. After that Ioana got the kids playing a game "I came to America to...." and the kids would act out a job. Interesting, Most ofg my generation and later grew up wanting to be famous superstars or athletes etc.. the majority of these kids strive to be doctors and dentists and much more noble professionals. I thought that was a huge and VERY interesting difference. It really shows the power of
The Class
just so you can see everyone wealth and the media and how it can change ways of thinking.
Stepping away from my philisophical side... We then went back inside and the kids did watercolor paintings in pairs. This proved especially fun as they had to work together to make one picture.
After a snack we played some dancing games and finsihed off the day on a high note... ha-ha-ha (that one's for you Dad). Anyways, it's off to a quick nap then some exporing.
Va Iubesc!
