Day 1
We left Dublin and got flight to Amsterdam. A very quick transfer and we were on our flight to Bergen. At Bergen airport the good news was the arrival of Yvonne's suitcase, the bad news was the non appearance of Cillian's suitcase.
Very efficient Flybus into town. Very snowy and dark. Hotel central as could be. A little faded but comfortable. Nice beds. It was late though and the only food we could get was Pringles and chocolate with a couple of beers. Funnily enough Yvonne was happy....seemed to regard this a fully balanced diet!
Told the hotel man that he could wake us at any time with news of the missing bag......well, nothing wrong with being optimistic.
Went to sleep....exhausted.
