Rome. Day 1

We had a long 12.5 hour flight from Singapore and even though we left at 1 am we didn't get much sleep. We got dinner and breakfast on the flight. Scrambled eggs yummy! We arrived in Rome at 8 am, collected our bags; mine was last again! Then we looked for a man with our name tag, he drove us to our hotel Hotel Romae. It took about an hour and the traffic was busy and there are some tiny cobble streets, lots of people and lots of motorbikes. Then we hopped on the Hop on Hop off bus and did o tour of the city. We sat on the top. At the 8th stop we got off to see the Trevi Fountain and get a gelato (ice cream) I had a strawberry, mint chocolate and chocolate it was yum. While we were eating it. Saw a man holding a pole but suspended in mid air it was really tricky I don't know how he did it.we caught the bus back to the start and walked back to our hotel. Dad had a sleep. Mum and I went for a walk to take some photos and get another gelato. Have a small gelato shop right outside our hotel! This time I just had strawberry and mixed berries with cream on top. Yummy. Then we went back to our room for a sleep, we woke up the next morning, missing tea!
