Moving steadily further East and a little bit further South and ever nearer to Austria. Not too far to travel today as Bob had planned a visit on route and we didn’t know how much time we would want there. Our visit was to Dachau, to the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site. Dachau is very close to Munich, on the North West side, so we used the motorway system to get us there. All very easy as it was signposted from a few miles away. Bob had already checked we would be able to park and we could, for 5€, though entrance to the Memorial itself is free. What a place it is. Incredibly well done in every way. No romanticising what happened here, just displays showing photos, quotes and factual descriptions. Hadn’t realised that places
