Garbage Strike

there is a garbage strike going on in germany currently. its been going on i believe for around three weeks or so, something like that. they did their demonstration on hauptstrasse and we could see the whole thing from ajy (the center where we have class and the center for the program). it was like 20 minutes or so. cool to see. i got to see a protest in germany. yeah for being a politics and german double major.

Kelly and I decided to go take a picture of the trash, since it is everywhere but yet still organized somehow. This is around the corner, the street behind ajy.

Here is the first picture. There were garbage man walking the street, yelling things and police officers all over. Very cool to see.

We were watching the demonstration from the windows of ajy and the balcony. It was awesome. Hopefully the strike will end soon.
