sandy ... famous for pleasure eh! atta boy!!!!Hi ALL!!!
So we've been to England, France, Portugal and Spain in the last 2 weeks . .and now we are back in France!!!!
Yesterday we spent the whole day at the beach in Barcelona and we were able to get on an overnight train into NICE, FRANCE. The train ride was eventful as the car was full of backpackers. Twas great drinking and partying on the train.. the rest of the passengers did not like us very much!!!!
We arrived into NICE at 8 this morning.. what a city! it is just gorgeous! Our hotel is pretty close to downtown as well as the beach so the location is great. When we arrived at the hotel this morning they were still serving breakfast so we were able to have a nice French breakfast .. yummm.... coffee with croissants and orange juice.. not too shabby!
Today was laundry day (finally!) so we took all our clothes (it was basically almost everything .. lol) to the nearby laundy mat and spent a good hr watching our clothes get clean. After we decided to explore NICE. WOW! we got our lunch at a small french bakery and went to the city. The beaches
porto - city!
here's a port in porto, portugal! here are rock beaches. the rocks are nothing like we imagined .. they arent pebbles .. they are nice bigger, smooth rocks. Before hitting the beach we went on a little hike to the highest point in the city .. WOOOWWWW! we overlooked the whole city and ocean.. it was soo beautiful! the hike wasnt so fun though. With all this walking our feet are beginning to hurt! It took us about an hr to 2 hrs to get to the top, have a beer and an ice cream and walk back down again. Then it was off to the beach! The sun was so strong and the water was just perfect! i -- Karla -- however did get stuck in the tide and kept trying to get out of the water and the strength of the water kept making me fall right into the rocks and brought me out to sea again and again ... hahaha... oh man! i now have bruises! Ian said it was one of the funniest things he's ever seen and now thinking about it .. i wish i had seen it happen to someone else ... but i didnt .... it was me who

the "beach" is right betwen the cliffs so there are tones of little hollows and pools for cliff jumping from about 30 feet into little crystal clear pool.. twas unreal.
Tomorrow we are off again! At the moment we are not really sure where we are going .... Milan or somewhere else in the North of ITALY! SOOO EXCITED!
MOM Iezzi -- please tell Tiago that i will phone him asap when we arrive in Italy! and We both cannot wait! Tiago (if you read this before talking to my mom) -- thanks so much for everything! cant wait to see you!
So we'll be watching the FINALS for the WORLD CUP in ITALY! --- it will be crazy!!!!!!
Don't Worry Dad Iezzi -- I'll be going for Italy (Karla) -- Ian on the other hand is a France Fan ... this should be interesting! ahahahaha
