Our friends from Norway, Rita and Derek
They wanted us to tell our husbands that they thought we were courageous women...haha
Bonsoir!!
Oh my I can not believe it is my final night in Paris. It has been so much fun....who would have thought that 2.5 days here could be as demanding as hiking in the Alps. We have tried to fit alot in and have succeeded I think. It was great that Linda and Katie met up with us yesterday. For those of you who do not know.....Linda is a childhood friend from Golden who happens to still be a great friend and just happened to have the Paris stop of the European Cruise her and her 22 year old daughter were taking Sept 23. We had a very special day; There was a huge parade of pipers from all over and many streets were closed. It was just our luck that we could walk (march) right down the middle of Des Champs Elyees to the Arc de Triomphe just like Napoleon!!!!!
Oh yes that reminds me of one other claim to fame we have......our bike tour actually followed the final section of the Tour de France haha! And as you can tell from the photo we were in fine form!
Alicia-Art is not necesarily on our list

of passions so the idea of heading to one of the largest art museums in the world did not really get our blood pumping. However, we were amazed by the Louvre and it was pretty neat to see some of the pieces that we have all heard so much about. In 3 hours we probably saw about 1000 of the 38000 items. But the number of tour buses pulling in drove our little bit of passion for art right out the door. We understand now why there was a french revolution after visiting the apartments of Napolean, wow.
We are on our way out for our final meal together in Paris. Hope everything back home is well and Kelley will be there soon. I will keep up the blog when I can. I am sad to see Mom go as we have had a really great trip and amazingly no fighting. I am looking forward to Ross joining me for the next part of my trip.
Talk to you all soon I hope.
Love,
Alicia
Kelley-Hi again. Just wanted to say farewell! I have to thank Alicia for being the most wonderful guide; yes....I rarely had

Along the trail in France
Look who I found? King Charles are the most common here.....may be an omen Terry
to put on my reading glasses or look at the map. She was also an amazing cheer leader when I needed a little extra encouragement. A special time to spend with you...and to get to know the women you are. Have a great time on the rest of your trip Babe!
Luv to all,
Kelley
