Greetings from Paris. Hope all is well at home with you all. I can not believe that my time here is nearly done....it has gone so quickly in some ways....and I am ready to come home....and then we did a bike tour of Paris this morning and I found another world yet to explore. Next time I am bringing you with me Terry, then we can stay away longer .
A little update Wow yesterday went like clock work Once again I have to thank Rick Steves or the great travel info; trains went well, we arrived in Paris at 7:15 pm bought our Metro tickets, boarded our first subway train, changed to the second one, left the metro, walked up the stairs, ahead about 20 feet our hotel room and it was only 7:45 We then had time to walk 10 minutes to the Eiffel Tower in time to watch the sun set and it light up. Amazing We got a little lost coming home as it is easier to find the tower than our little hotel on the Paris sky line haha!
The Bike Tour was great and really gave us an overview so we could chose what sights we will try and see. The guide was a young Texan that offered alot of info and history in a very entertaining way. He reminded us of Mitch....he even was learning the snap Joe!
We did a some shopping and Alicia settled in to watch a little track and field on TV....sport of course has a universal language. I was about to seek out the internet cafe when I saw a lap top in the lobby and discovered as a guest we have free use...liking Paris more and more!
I am not going to risk trying to download pictures right now....as that may just ruin a great day haha! I must run and pick up the sushi as we are picnic ing tonight on the lawn of the Tour Eiffel. What can I say....missing home and sushi too!
Bye for now....luv from Alicia and Kelley
Pictures will follow I hope!

Well, what a whirlwind trip you are having. Sounds like you have returned to civilization tho - sushi! Maybe that should be your next goal. How many countries can I visit and eat sushi? Heck you could probably get a sponsor. Oh, and I thought of something else for you both to do. Why don't you enter the Amazing Race????????? Dock party tomorrow. See ya soon.
hahahaha...how lovely to think of you guys trotting around Paris! How did the sushi rate??? Lova lova B
Just read all your blog entries (i didnt even know you had one!) So good to hear from you, and to hear about all this wonderful stuff you are experiencing. Glad to hear you were able to overcome that ladder- the 40 is just as scary!! it did look a little vertical though... safety first alicia!! 4feet out for every one foot up. I guess i should have been at the bottom holding it for you!!! ha ha. Keep on truckin. Sounds like you know exactly how to have a good time over there!
Glad to hear you ladies are doing well and someone else is learning the snap! ha ha
