Friday 10th September 2010 Up early and a short drive to the small port of Gedser to catch the ferry from Denmark to Germany ( Rostock ). Wednesday & Thursday 8th and 9th September 2010 Wednesday 8th Today we hit the road south towards a ferry crossing back to Germany. In town we treat ourselves to the local speciality a type of apple pie and take it home for supper. ( see pics ) The apples are very good and have a fantastic aroma ( they taste good too ! ) Thursday 9th Its maths and art this morning. The art session is paper cutting based ... read more

We headed out of Copenhagen on the motorway but then directed Clarissa Tomtom not to use motorways and she took us along some more minor, ‘straight as the crow flies’ roads right to the south of Julland to a little place called Hummingham. There is a campsite here and probably a beach a mile or so away but we stayed on site so didn’t find out what else was there. Had a swim in the rather nice pool but, as luck would have it, ... read more
