Trinidad Grande Riviere

Spent 3 days Grande Riviere; an isolated fishing village 2.5 hours in the north of Trinidad; main attraction - giant leather back turtle breeding season. Went on a night tour of the nesting on the beach right outside our accommodation; only infra red light allowed so no pictures. Lucky enough to see early turtle hatchlings pop up and fight their way to sea against the awaiting vultures and dogs etc. - pretty tough.
