Het was een drukke maand, februari....we zijn er nog moe van .... heel veel gasten gehad en leuke dingen meegemaakt, teveel om op te noemen maar hier zijn wat fotos die het allemaal wel vertellen.

It was a busy month, february....we're still tired....we had a lot of guests and a lot of fun, to much to tell everything but here are some pictures who will tell their own story.

We sold everything in the Netherlands in may 2005 and are living since then in beautiful Costa Rica where we run a B&B and Cabina's. The cat Flekkie also came with us, she is already 16 years old. And now we have two parrots and a dog called Lucky. The little town of Tronadora where we live is nice and quiet and located at lake Arenal. From our house we have a spectacular view at the lake and the Arenal volcano as well. At night we can see the lava come down from the volcano, that is fantastic to watch.... full info

Daar komen ze / Here they come
De eerste fietsers in de ochtend, de eerste dag 60 km over onverharde wegen,de 2de dag 70 km over verharde wegen. .............................................................................. The first bikers in the morning, the first day 60 km on gravel road and the 2nd day 70 km on paved road.
Vuelta de Lago Arenal
De meeste fietsers hebben vrienden die ze begeleiden in een auto volgeladen met "spullen", iedereen helpt mekaar indien nodig. .............................................................................. Most bikers have friends following them in a car, fully loaded with "stuff" and they all help eachother when in need.
Ananas
Eerst een paar dagen laten drogen en dan pas planten....18 maanden wachten en dan.... .............................................................................. First you let them dry a couple of days, you plant them and wait for 18 months and then.....
Pineapple
Onze eerste ananassen groeien...er zijn er in totaal al 4, de eerste kruinen die we geplant hebben. .............................................................................. Our first pineapples are growing... 4 in total, the first ones we planted.
Pina
In het spaans heet het Pina. Hij zit nu vol met kleine paarse bloemetjes rondom en moet nog een stuk groeien. ..............................................................................In spanish they call it Pina. Now it's full with little purple flowers and needs to grow more.
De was/ Laundry
Aan de hoeveelheid kleuren die aan de waslijn kun je zien hoe druk we het hebben.. ha ha lekker vrolijk he ? .............................................................................. You can tell how busy we are by the colours of the towels, the more the busier. ha ha it's colourfull isn't it ?
Kees y Lucky
Kees met ons zwarte monster....ze is echt superlief en wil de hele dag wel geknuffeld worden...wie niet ? .............................................................................. Kees with our black monster....she is so sweet and wants attention the whole day, who wouldn't ?
Woonkamer/Living room
Eindelijk is de laatste muur in de woonkamer ook voorzien van een vrolijke kleur, oranje boven ! .............................................................................. Finally we painted the last wall in the livingroom. Orange !
Zonsopgang/Sunrise
Op de vorige kregen we veel reacties dus nog maar een mooi plaatje van de zonsopgang achter de Arenal vulkaan. .............................................................................. We got a lot of response from the last one so here's another nice sunrise from behind the Arenal volcano.
Mooie lucht/ Beautiful sky
Eind van de middag...strijklicht .............................................................................. End of the afternoon...special light
In de namiddag / late afternoon
Het blijft geweldig om te zien, de lichtval op het meer. .............................................................................. It's still beautiful, the special lights on the lake.
Monteverde
Mooie bloem in het nevelwoud van Monteverde. .............................................................................. Nice flower in the Monteverde cloudforest.
