Hello Bahamas!
Disembarked for a short while
Not much to see, do.

Today’s fourth and final port of call is in Nassau, Bahamas. We didn’t book a tour for today’s stop and waited around for Christie to be ready to disembark so that all four of us could explore together. All of us didn’t seem very motivated to do anything in particular so we headed over to the Straw Markets to see what sort of last minute souvenirs we could find. Nothing! But that’s okay. It was nice to get off of the ship for a bit.

We didn’t really do anything too exciting on our last day on the ship. I have made note that took a nap and we picked up pictures and our souvenir drinking glass and I did a bit of final packing.

Wow, packing. For me it wasn’t too bad. The bag I was going to be taking back with me to Atlanta was super light. But the bag that Laura was going to take back to Vancouver with her was ultra heavy!

Alice didn’t have too much of her own stuff to pack away BUT Christie on the other hand had tons of stuff that Alice was going to bring back for her. Alice and Christie were contemplating checking in two pieces of overweight luggage or three pieces of luggage and paying for the extra piece. In the end Laura and I put our “expert” packing skills to the test and repacked Christie’s huge red luggage so that Alice would only have to check in two bags. Phew! What a workout but we did it! It was actually quite fun to have such a challenge…sort of like working on a puzzle at times. Lol

So all in all, we had a pretty easy last day on the ship. Sigh…the easy going cruising life is about to end…
