I'm always so impressed with the people you meet on your journeys,Wendy! Cathy still says you need to write a book about your travels! :) Happy New Year to you and Chris!
Glad you are having a great time. As of about 10am we are getting light snow that isn't amounting to any accumulation. Dad wanted to know how warm it is in Morocco.
Have fun.

Wonderful Travelogue Wendy and Fitch Go To Morocco
I see a children's book here! You are probably taking fabulous photos too. Turn these wonderful adventures into trips to inspire! (You make me want to go someplace exotic) - Joyce
holidays I´m glad that you are enjoying your holidays. It seems that it is something we would like too. We´ve just returned from our holidays and I must say we were not too lucky this time. Spending the first week at the North Sea was OK, apart from the weather the last few days. We intentionally wanted to stay 2 weeks but returned after four days of rain. We did a great cycling tour in our area and ventured to "Spa hotel" down south, which was rather a B&B than a proper hotel and promised more on their internet site than they actually were able to fulfill. Well, I guess it´s just God´s way of telling us to stay home or go abroad for our holidays. We went to Marburg though, which is a beautiful university town with an old town from the Middles Ages.
Thorsten has two more weeks off so we got some time to relax at home. I hope that you are going to meet a moose and an elk:)
Love, STEFFI
Nice pics You did go on a lovely, lovely day in Oregon. I like the self-portrait :) Did you make it to the weekend market in Portland? I'm still working on figuring out how to post pictures with my entries.
Safe travels,
Marina
Wendy,
Portland and Seattle have always been on my to see list. This only makes me more determined to get there. I was in Flagstaff 3 weeks ago and the weather along with the scenery was amazing. Can't wait to hear how it goes in Canada.

it happens to us all, sooner or later Great travels, I love living vicariously in your blog. Except that you gave me a flashback to a bird incident that happened in New Orleans at the Cafe du Monde... I couldn't eat shrimp for years. Post some photos when you can!
Oh CRAP! I've never heard of bird droppings being a sign of good luck. I don't want that kind of luck EVER! I love reading the names of the places you visit. I hear them in my head with a little twing of an Irish accent
Toucans I'm glad that you tried ziplining! You really could be on the Amazing Race now. I am confident you will see a toucan before you leave Costa Rica. For some reason, they like to hide from you until the last day of your trips!
